The Flemish congregation of Danzig (Gemeynte Godts), headed by Dirk Philips until 1567. Its church record, kept in Dutch until 1784, is held at the Mennonite Library and Archives, Bethel College (Krahn - Dutch Anabaptism (1968) p. 219 and n. 33, 37). A possible source for the earliest Wiebes.
