What happened

On 17 January 1525 the council ruled for Zwingli on infant baptism and banned the radicals’ meetings. On 21 January 1525, in the house of Felix Manz’s mother, Blaurock asked Grebel to baptize him and then baptized the others — the traditional founding of Anabaptism. Within days a congregation formed at Zollikon. This is the root of every Swiss line in this tree (Ramseyer, Neuenschwander, Lehman, Sprunger, Mast, Hochstetler, Mishler).
