John Miller
Father of David Miller (1779–1853) and of Jacob Miller (Troyer book, entry 899). Married Frany (Fanny) Yoder; son of “wounded” John Miller (Troyer, entry 898); moved to Ohio in 1815. Otherwise little known: one of many Amish John Millers of Pennsylvania. Witness “John Miller” signed Michael Troyer Sr.’s 1803 will in Somerset County, Pa.; possibly the same man (unproven).
1912 Hochstetler genealogy, fam. 9154

Veronica Troyer), John/Annas (1787–1867), Elizabeth (1789; m. Moses Beachy, the first Amish couple married in Holmes County), Isaac, Emanuel, Solomon (1795; killed by a falling tree while clearing land, 1815–16) and Elias (1798).
