Sources
Birth, Koszelitzke (Warnau), 6 Sep 1788 (Heubuden church book) — added 2026-10-31 by Claude
1788, “Koselieky & Irrgang”, births: “Sept. 6 Maria Wiens” — her exact date. Parents are not named in the transcription.
Candidate parents (compiled lead): the only Wiens marriage at Koszelitzke just before is “Bernhart Wiens & Catharina Penner”, 12 Apr 1787. A Hans Wiens (1719–1787) farmed at Warnau in 1776 and died there in Jan 1787, aged 67; he may be Bernhart’s father. To prove it, check the original book for parents’ names, or Maria’s marriage entry to Anton Fieguth. She was Anton’s second wife (his first, Maria Busenitz, m. 1800).
